Interactive GMT 3D Model - Updated 27th Oct

Once opened in Acrobat it becomes interactive.   Click on the engine and a 3D tool bar will appear above the 2D picture.  Full details of what is possible can be found on the Acrobat website here but here is a quick summary:  The model may be rotated by holding the left mouse button down and pushing the engine around.  The mouse wheel may be used to zoom in and out.  A very powerful feature is the model tree.

The model tree allows parts of the engine to be turned on and off.  This will enable you to dig around and see groups of parts alone.  The are a host of other options and it is best to experiment by click around and trying out all available options.

Since the PDF contains the complete 3D "drawings" of each part, it represents valuable data that is not normally available for free download on the web.  In return I ask that you respect my copyright and use it only locally on your computer.  It has taken a lot of time produce and is one reason for the infrequent updates too this site.
